What if I have a payment terminal I want to activate that is not in the list?

Please contact your Customer Succes Manager. If the volume is high enough we can decide to add it to our road map of payment integrations.

Who pays for the transaction fee?

The owner of the charge station pays for the costs that are related to the transaction processing. On your monthly CPO invoice there will be a row with transaction fees.

How do I receive the funds for ad hoc payments?

The funds for the ad hoc payments will be added to the total reimbursement amount we transfer to your bank account every month.

Which payment cards does Road support?

Visa, Mastercard, VPay/Visa debit, Maestro/Mastercard debit, Girocard.

How can I pay at a DC charging station?

  • You can use a charge card (roaming). We accept over 5 million charge cards.
  • You can scan the QR code sticker and directly pay
  • If there is a payment terminal available, you can pay with your bank card.

How can I pay at a AC charging station?

  • You can use a charge card (roaming).

What payment methods are available for QR code payments?

In our QR payment flow we support Visa & Mastercard payment cards together with ApplePay and GooglePay payment methods.
We plan to add further further specific local payment methods based on demand in due course.

What does it cost to use the QR code flow for ad hoc payments?

As a driver you will pay the charging tariff and any additional fees as set by the CPO.
All of this information will be displayed to you before you start charging as part of our anonymous ad hoc payments journey.
No additional fees will be charges to the driver for using the QR code payment flow.

What does it cost if I use a payment terminal to start my session?
